Our employees go above and beyond. They are dedicated and passionate about working in the community, and generous in giving to the organizations and causes near and dear to their hearts.
We have the very best employees – just ask any nonprofit where our employees have volunteered. Our corporate volunteer time policy allows employees the opportunity, with manager approval, to volunteer numerous hours throughout the year.
Here’s a glimpse of what we accomplished in 2022:
Board service is an opportunity for employees to invest their knowledge and skills to support nonprofits in our community. Our goal with board placement is to match the needs of the nonprofit organization with the expertise of our employees. We support corporately placed board members by providing a variety of training opportunities, as well as sponsorships of fundraising events for the nonprofits they serve.
Employees engaged in this type of board service are able to help further a nonprofit’s mission, gain a deep understanding of the nonprofit work happening in the Omaha metropolitan area, and apply skills and knowledge in a new way.
Maximizing Charitable Giving
Extending our commitment to the community, the Mutual of Omaha Foundation Matching Gift Program allows current corporate employees to double the impact of their contributions to eligible organizations. The Foundation will match approved contributions up to $1,000 per employee, per year.
